Blaine Seagraves
Senior Pastor

Pastor Blaine has been a part of the Colbert family since November of 2013. He served as our Student Pastor and Associate Pastor until March of 2022 when he stepped into our Senior Pastor role. Blaine is homegrown, growing up in Ila. He and his wife Jenna are both Madison County graduates and they have two children, Roman and Georgia Claire. Blaine is a 2013 graduate of Emmanuel College's School of Christian ministry. In his free time he loves spending time with his family, being outdoors, playing disc golf or basketball, or watching the Braves. Pastor Blaine has a heart for helping those in need and equipping others to understand God's Word through study and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He especially loves to see this in the lives of parents and young adults.
Bob Habeck
Worship & Discipleship Pastor

Pastor Bob joined the Colbert staff in July of 2022 as the Pastor of our Worship and Discipleship. He grew up in Warner Robins, GA and has had the privilege of serving churches in Tennessee and Georgia in various ministry positions since 1994. Prior to that, Bob spent 4 years traveling around the country with Life Action Ministries which is where he would meet his wife, Glynis, and they have been married since 1994 and now have two adult children, Ashley & Brian, who are both serving Christ. Some things that Bob enjoys doing are: spending time with family, watching college football, watching his one NFL team, golfing, playing music.
Jacob Dixon
Student Minister

Jacob has been working on staff at Colbert as the Student Minister since October of 2022. Jacob and his wife, Sydney, both grew up in the community, graduating from Madison County High School in 2019. In his free time he enjoys watching UGA football and Hawks basketball, playing golf, and running triathlons with his wife. Jacob has a heart to see the next generation become the leaders for Christ in this world.
Jonathan Beaver
Children's Pastor

Pastor Jonathan has been a part of the Colbert family since November of 2025. He has been on staff at other churches in Kansas, Georgia, and North Carolina. Jonathan was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, and has lived in 9 states. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married since September 2015. They have one child, Samuel. Jonathan graduated from Moody Bible Institute in May 2014. He loves spending time with his family, going to the beach, hiking in the mountains, playing and watching sports, and reading a good book. Jonathan is passionate about reaching kids and families for Christ in the Colbert and greater Athens area. He desires to partner with parents and caregivers in raising their children in a Christ-centered home.
Diane Rice
Office Administrator

Diane has been serving as our Office Administrator since June, 2026. Diane is a valuable part of our ministry team, serving our church family through the many administrative needs of Colbert Baptist Church. She and her husband, Steve have 3 sons and 11 grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys working in her nursery, wood working, thrifting, fishing, and watching football and Nascar.
Kara Grace Myers
Buddy Ministry Coordinator

Kara Grace has been serving part time as our Buddy Ministry Coordinator since January of 2026. She is trained to support a wide range of behavioral and medical needs and is currently working toward earning her Registered Behavior Technician certification.
She says "I am truly excited to step into this new role and continue serving people of all abilities within our church community. I have always felt a special connection to individuals with different abilities, even before I fully understood what that calling would look like in my own life. I cannot wait to serve you and your family?
