We gather in different ways throughout the year at Colbert. We are thankful that we can offer a variety of settings for adults, kids, and students to gather together to build community and grow in their faith! Each week we have people from all age groups and categories from newborns to senior citizens meeting across our campus to dive deep into God's Word together. For a full glance at our Sunday School classes click here.
Morning Worship
11AM
We love worshipping in song and through the study of God's Word with our church family on Sundays. Our worship service is led by our Pastor of Worship & Discipleship, Bob Habeck, who plays piano and leads our praise team and band. You will hear a wide variety of songs from week to week and we do strive for a blend of styles! We love to feature our choir, "Sounds of Grace," as well, who keep us refreshed with those rich and faithful hymns that most are familiar with. Our Senior Pastor, Blaine Seagraves, leans toward expository preaching and typically moves through one book of the Bible at a time.
Midweek Meetings
Adult Bible Studies, 6:45PM
August 17th - November &
January 18th - End of May
Our midweek meetings coincide with the Madison County School Calendar, running from mid-August to the end of May, breaking for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Summer. We offer to adult studies each Wednesday and though you are welcome to attend either, our Prayer Meeting consists of individuals mostly 65+ and is led primarily by three retired ministers while our Young Adult Study consists of parents dropping off their kids or students for their midweek programs and is led by Pastor Blaine or Pastor Bob.

Our midweek programs range from kids currently in kindergarten through seniors in high school. Our TeamKID program offers a Game & Rec Time, Snack Time, and two different classes (PreK-K and 1st-3rd) and features lots of Scripture memorization and life application! Our Unleashed class (4th-6th grades) focuses on building a foundation of faith ahead of the volatile middle school and pre-teen years! Our Student Ministry offers a time of worship, games & rec, small group, and many other times as our students gather upstairs each week.
Sounds of Grace, 6PM
Traditional Hymn Choir
Our choir, "The Sounds of Grace," meets each Wednesday in the choir room at 5:45PM to practice. This group sings traditional hymns from the hymnal exclusively and brings a richness to our services and events that is greatly appreciated and enjoyed. They do not practice in July or December, taking both months off due to vacations and holidays. This is a coed choir open to all ages and abilities.
