PRODIGAL WEEKEND
SEPTEMBER 23-25

We're looking forward to a powerful weekend on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th as we journey through Luke 15:11-31 together. This will be a weekend of fellowship, worship, and return. Check out the information below and consider joining us! Childcare will be provided for newborns through preK throughout the weekend. Our sermons will be uploaded each evening but only Sunday's worship service will be livestreamed so if you can't make it in person be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates throughout the series!

Our Vision

As one of the oldest churches in Madison County, Colbert has a rich history of meeting the needs of those in our community and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors. We are church in transition and have seen a lot of change and growth the last 9 months but we're staying true to our roots. We invite you to make the most of a free weekend in the fall with no Red Raider football Friday and a 12 o'clock UGA game on Saturday to come be a part of what God is doing in our congregation and community.

Friday we invite you come grab some dinner from the Chik Fil A food truck on site at 6PM while you meet some of our folks in our Family Life Center before gathering for worship at 7PM. You can view their mobile menu and prices by clicking here. Saturday evening pizza and salad are on us at 6PM as we continue our journey through Luke 15:11-31 together in the sanctuary at 7PM. Sunday morning we'll hear from our choir, The Sounds of Grace, before a time in worship together in song as we conclude our Prodigal Series by looking at the love of the Father.

The fun won't stop there! Sunday afternoon we'll head to our lake lot at 4PM for our annual volleyball tournament and cookout before we hear from three of our own music groups by the water! Our lake lot address is 757 Vickery St Ext, Hartwell, Georgia. We do plan to offer transportation via bus if you're interested in joining but don't feel like making the drive yourself. We encourage you to bring a chair as well as a side dish, drink, or dessert! We'll provide the main course.

Throughout the weekend you'll hear the story behind some familiar smiles and we pray you will catch a glimpse of our vision to see our community family focused, mission minded, and Christ centered. Homecoming is always a great time but we're excited to take to a whole new level. From our growing family ministry and expanding praise team to our tradition hymn-based choir...there's a place for you here.
